Create, coordinate and market community center recreational, educational, leisure, athletic programs and operations.
Coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, outside agencies and the general public.
Maintain inventory controls and conduct surveys to monitor the overall effectiveness of center programs and events.
Hire staff and participate in the training and motivation of subordinate community center personnel.
Work with youth involved in the afterschool program, school break camps, and summer day camp.
Heavy public and phone contact.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Sports Management, Kinesiology, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field
Two (2) years of experience in community center service or recreational programming experience.
Valid Driver's license.
Must pass physical, drug test, and tuberculosis screening
